RIDGEWAY School pupil Leon Perrott tore up the competition when he competed in skateboarding at the London Youth Games.
Skating was debuting at the event as a demonstration sport and the 13-year-old wasted no time in becoming one of the first winners at Crystal Palace’s National Sports Centre.
The event was held in a skate park-style arena with jumps, grind rails, quarter pipes and a fun box.
Perrott performed some big ollies, kickflips, 360 pop shove its and 50-50 grinds, along with some of his own tricks.
The youngster had two runs lasting a minute each, and he managed to land his moves to achieve a score of 67 per cent, and take the crown.
