Danny Gonzalez Retires From Skateboarding

Danny Gonzalez has decided to retire from skateboarding due to some leg and ankle problems. We wish Danny the best of luck with whatever the future has in store for him.

Last night Jereme Rogers announced that he is retiring from skateboarding. I am not sure how you just retire from skateboarding I think you just kind of fade away. The only person I know of actually retiring from a part of skateboarding was Tony Hawk back in the late 90′s and he only retired from the competition aspect of skateboarding. We can only speculate why Jereme is retiring from skateboarding injury free at such a young age but I suspect it has something to do with the adventure he had with mushrooms a few weeks ago in Redondo Beach. Plan B pro Jereme Rogers apoligised to his Redondo Beach neighbors last Wednesday when he apparently “ate some mushrooms and bugged out”. He was preaching naked from his rooftop to his neighbors about god. Jereme apparently pulled his boxer shorts off around 6:40am. Climbed onto his roof of the two story house he rents on Havemeyer Lane and Goodman Avenue in Redondo beach, California. Jereme ran around naked on his roof back and forth getting dangerously close to the edge. Lieutenant Acquarelli stated “He would have fragmented, interrupted conversations with people that weren’t there,” he also said “He never lost his balance,” the lieutenant said. “The potential was there for it. If he had taken a few negligible steps to the right, that would have impeded his balance and would have led to his demise.” Jeremy who has religous tattoos and often speaks of spirituality acredits his skateboarding skill as a gift from god. The responding officer used this to his advantage lurred Jereme off the roof by informing him that he was a Catholic high school teacher talked with Jereme about spirituality and success. When he finally got close enough he and another officer grabbed Jereme off the roof and brought him down to safety. Jereme was then taken to County Harbor Medical Center for an observation period. He was not arrested but he could face possible charges at a later date.

Well whatever Jereme ends up doing from now on we wish him the best and he was one hell of a skater!
